Both teams start the new season taking one point from the first match,Verona on away against Atalanta,Palermo at home against Sampdoria.

 

Verona in this summer lost their striker Juan Iturbe (33/8) - Roma and midfielder Romulo (32/6) - to Juventus on loan.But they bring experienced striker Javier Saviola (25/12) from Olympiakos who will have his debut tonight, defender Rafael Marquez (ex Barcelona player) who already play the first match for his new team.Here you can also see other very good players like Luka Toni (35/20) 2nd top scorer last year, Bosko Jankovic and many others.

I can say that Verona have really good summer preparation,playing some friendly matches and won against Al Khor, Sudtirol and draw against much strong teams like Rubin Kazan and Shakhtar.Before two weeks ago they won 3:0 at home against Crotone,match from italian cup and Luca Toni already scored his 5th goal in the new season.

Palermo at the same finish of the transfer period lost their best player and top scorer Abel Hernandez (28/14). Almost all other players from the last season who play in second league are here and will that be enough to playing in serie a we will see.Defender Ezequel Munoz (1/0) will miss this match.
Result in preparation don't look so good, losing from Al Ahli,draw with Brescia team from second legue,and just before two weeks they was eliminate from italian cup losing again from team who play in second league Modena at home with big 0:3 result.

Right now Verona looks much better i think,more quality roster,better coach so i think they can take the first three points before their own fans tonight.
