APOEL vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Very poor start of the season for APOEL so far, as they`ve been eliminated from the Champions League qualifier by Maribor, only managed a draw in the first match of the EL, 0-0 vs Maccabi Tel Aviv and in the league, they`ve already dropped 5 points in the first 4 rounds. The atmosphere is very bad, the fans are demanding the sack of coach Paulo Sergio and the only reason why is still in charge is that the board is trying to avoid paying compensations to him.

Eintracht opened the campaign with a shocking 1-6 defeat against newcomers to Bundesliga, Hertha, but they are on an up-trend ever since, losing only twice in the following 10 games and those defeats were against Bundesliga`s best teams, Bayern and Dortmund, by the 1 goal margin. Unlike other clubs from top European leagues, the Germans are taking this match seriously, as this is their first participation in Europe after a long time.

Under normal circumstances, there are slim chances for the hosts to avoid the defeat in this match. They are a class bellow their opponents, the mood is not good at all, only 12.000-13.000 fans expected, while Eintracht is expected to use their best formula. The guests have been in great form on the road lately, winning 3 games and drawing once in the last 4 trips, with 8 goals scored and just one conceded.

Betting option: 1x2
Pick:
Eintracht F.
Odds: 1.95

Ludogorets vs Dinamo Zagreb

Both teams are leading their leagues but are in different form of late. Even Dinamo won against lower division side Suhopolje 0:6 in the cup they have had huge problems with creating and scoring from their chances. An easy loss in the biggest darby against Hajduk 2:0, Chernomorets 1:2, barely won over the worst team in the league Osijek 0:1 and only managed 0:0 against Zadar. Half of the team is out of form and especially the important ones like Sammir and Soudani.

Ludogorets on the other hand is in very good form ond won 4 of the last 5 games. The last one was a draw at home to Botev 0:0 but I suspect they had this game clearly in mind. Among the last wins of Ludogorets is the one against PSV away 0:2 and it just shows how dangerous this team can be. Even if PSV underestimated them it is a big result and the one that will give them big confidence. Ludogorets is a beter team then last year and the lack of experience last year has cost them the result in both games when they played Dinamo. They were the better side in those games but conceded stupid goals in the dying minutes to be eliminated.  The team will be hugely motivated today.
I really couldn`t say how motivated Dinamo is. Dinamo usually plays better when they are the underdogs and on the road but the new coach has not shown to be able to lead this group of players and the results avoid them still.
Dinamo will have Leko,Sandomierski and Antolić out of the squad but it is better for Dinamo.

The list of Dinamo players in Bulgaria: „Grzegorz Sandomierski, Oliver Zelenika
Ivo Pinto, Josip Šimunić, Jozo Šimunović, Lee Addy, Josip Pivarić, Ruben Lima
Arijan Ademi, Bakary Sare, Marcelo Brozović, Zvonko Pamić, Sammir, Said Husejinović, Alen Halilović
Hilal Soudani, Junior Fernandes, Duje Čop, Fatos Beqiraj.“

The probable lineup of Ludogorets: „Stoyanov(gk), Choco, Bart, Moti, Caicara, Dyakov, Espinho, Iv.Stoyanov, Misidjan, Marcelinho, Bezjak.“
The odds are low on the home side but realistic.

Betting option: 1x2
Pick:
Ludogorets
Odds: 2.15

Bayer Leverkusen vs R. Sociedad

Leverkusen continue their impressive performances this season, increasing the pressure on leading duo, Dortmund and Bayern. Sami Hyypiä`s side have won 6 out of 7 games in Bundesliga, losing only away to Schalke, with a 17-7 scoreline, which is impressive, considering the fact that they have scored more than Bayern Munches.

Sociedad produced a big surprise when they managed to better Valencia and finish on the Champions League play-off berth and even a bigger surprise when they eliminated experienced and routined side Lyon in the play-off, but they are out of form since the win over Lyon. The Basques are without a win in their last 6 matches, losing 3 times, including a 0-2 home defeat against Shakhtar on Matchday 1.

Leverkusen should have the upper hand in this tie, as they are in a great form at the moment, especially in front of their own fans. Since April 2012, Leverkusen have played 28 games in all competitions and have only been defeated 3 times, against top opponents: Europa League finalists Benfica, Bayern and Dortmund. Sociedad have been a nice surprise on last season, but after the departure of their coach this summer, Montanier, they are on a downtrend.

Bayer L. without: Gonzalo Castro; Jens Hegeler.
Real S. without: Xabi Prieto; Daniel Estrada; Esteban Granero; Diego Ifrán.

Betting option: 1x2
Pick: Bayer Leverkusen

Odds: 1.80

 PSG vs Benfica

Laurent Blanc`s lads extended their invincibility following wins to nil against Valenciennes (1-0) and Toulouse (2-0). Les Princes are unbeaten this term in 10 matches in all competitions (7 wins and 3 draws) and the new players are integrating better and better. Cavani has scored in 3 of the last 4 matches, while hot prospect Marquinhos scored his second goal in 4 games.

Benfica won their first match in the group stage, 2-0 against Anderlecht at home thanks to first-half goals from Duricic and Luisao, but they made several wrong steps on Liga ZON Sagres (3W 2D 1L), being already 5 points behind Porto. Only narrow wins over Gil Vicente, with the winner scored on stopage time and against Guimaraes and a 3-1 victory over second from the bottom Pacos Ferreira are definitely not impressive results.

Benfica have a superior European experience at this level, as they have played on group stage in the last 3 seasons in a row, but PSG definitely holds the momentum, with their 5 star roaster. They are very hard to defeat at their Parc des Princes, being undefeated since last November, while the guests have been inconsistent at this start of the season and failed to win in 2 out of their 3 trips.

PSG without: Thiago Silva; Javier Pastore
Benfica without: Amorim; Silvio; Eduardo Salvio; Markovic

Betting option: 1x2
Pick: PSG

Odds: 1.80
