Motherwell FC vs Inverness
Motherwell salvaged a 3-3 draw away from home to Hibernian at Easter road last time in the league racking a last minute draw. A win today will further boost their European ambitions. They have made a good scoring record at home and are coming on the back of scoring 7 goals in last two matches.
Injured Goalkeeper Lee Hollis (11/0) will be missing for this clash but Gunnar Nielson (12/0) has recovered from the knock that kept him out against Hibs so that makes an even replacement. Midfielder Paul Lawson (17/0) remains out.
On the bright side of team news they recover a lot of their players: Hammell (Df 24/0), Carswell (Mf 25/0) and Francis-Angol (Df 23/2), Lee Erwin, Henri Anier (Att 25/7) and Simon Ramsden (Df 18/0).
Inverness are coming from the painful exit from the league cup after a 4-2 penalty shootout. Although it seems the guest were robbed of a penalty, they failed to take advantage of the guest’s trouble, playing modestly in front of goals, making their goal drought to fourth consecutive matches without scoring. Manager John Hughes currently have no major injury worries as the team continues its roster in the busy week.
Host got boosts ahead of this clash and they can count on home form to punish troubled guests whose confidence is currently questionable.
