Wolves vs Gillingham
Wolves are still coming to terms with back to back relegations, however they are tipped as the main promotion contenders. -
They have managed to hold on to a number of players with Premier League
experience like Hennessey, Stearman, Elokobi, Edwards and Doyle.
- They have further strengthened their squad with the arrival of Griffiths from Hibernian; 23 goals in 36 matches last season.
- Gillingham are one of the newcomers to the League One this season and tipped to be involved in the relegation battle this year.
- They are one of the weakest teams in the league and had a tough start losing their first 2 matches, both at home.
Wolves started the season with a 0-0 respectable away draw against Preston North End and a disappointing midweek elimination from the League Cup at the hands of Morecambe. This is their first home match of the season and I expect that they will attract a capacity crowd at Molineux which will boost them even further. I was surprised to see these kind of odds and believe there is huge value on a home win.
