Vaslui - FC Botosani

Match from  last 16 of the Romanian Cup. Vaslui after they have been deducted by the Federation with 8 points, are ranked now 16th with only 6 points. Still, they have a decent squad, much more valuable then Botosani, that's for sure ! It's true, Botosani are ranked 6th, but a lot of matches were won with a lot of luck. They are 2nd league material, even though they showed some good form this season.

Well, this is the last chance for Vaslui to catch European places, because they don't know if those 8 points will be given back to them, so the cup is practically their last chance. So, they will mobolise and will beat Botosani, I'm very sure of that. Last year when Botosani was in the second division, they eliminated Vaslui from the cup, but that's something else. At that time, things were very tense at Vaslui, players were unhappy with the coach so they didn't played anything.
It's true that Vaslui lost to Corona Brasov, poorest team from the league, but in that match they had 3 important missings.

Another important factor is that I don't think that Botosani is interested in the cup. They don't have chances in winning the trophy, so I expect a second squad to be sent on the pitch. On the other hand, Vaslui will play with regulars. In this circumstances, I can't see Vaslui not winning this one. + they showed some good football in the last match against U Cluj.
