Numancia - Hercules

Numancia is coming from a very important victory away to Alcorcon (0-1) despite fielding a team with some absences. This weekend they are back to their home turf Los Pajaritos where they are very tough to beat for any visitor.
 The good news is that they recover two very important players: W Vicente (6/0) and FB Ripa (8/0) were released to play after injury and will be able to strengthen a squad that will only miss FW Enrich (7/2). They were very consistent last week in Alcorcon and they have a great chance to win a second game in a row for the first time this season. Their home record is 2-2-0

Hercules had a very tough week so far. First of all they couldn’t beat Eibar at home (0:0) and failed to end their winless league streak that lasts since end of August. Afterwords they traveled to the Canary Islands to play a cup fixture against Las Palmas and they lost 3:0. Despite the fact that they have rotated several players and left 3 of them at home to rest, the long trip made some damage for sure. They’ve faced Eibar last Sunday, took two planes to arrive to Las Palmas (layover in Madrid) on Wednesday, played on Thursday, trained Friday morning in Las Palmas, took a plane to Madrid on the afternoon and travelled directly to Soria by bus (230 km). 

Saturday is reserved for a training session in Soria to prepare for the Sunday’s match. All of this happened while Numancia players rested and prepared themselves during the whole week. They have 4 consecutive defeats in their away fixtures with a record of 0-1-4 since the beginning of the season. Coach Quique Hernandez is highly questioned and word is that he is going to be sacked sooner than later.
Taking all of these facts in consideration, Numancia’s odds for victory at around evens are worth to be taken.
